STABIRA Project – Cascade Calls NODES Program
Thermophilic aerobic membrane reactor for sewage sludge minimization and enhancement
Giotto Water is finalizing the executive design for the construction of the thermophilic aerobic membrane reactor included in the STABIRA Project, with the Consultancy of the University of Pavia, Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
The STABIRA Project is funded under the Cascade Calls of the NODES Program, supported by the MUR on PNRR MUR funds – M4C2 – Investment 1.5 Notice “Ecosystems of Innovation,” under the European Union-funded PNRR – NextGenerationEU (Grant agreement Cod.no.ECS000036).
The prototype plant, which will be launched by the end of this year in a municipal sewage treatment plant, aims to minimize the production of sewage sludge for its reuse, turning the waste into a resource, in line with the Recovery Plan guidelines and for the transition to a circular economy model.
